MEET OUR MISSIONARIES.
ASAEL AND HANNAH FUENTES
Asael, Hannah, and their family are missionaries as part of the ever-growing Mission Mexico field! Asael and Hannah joins Evelyn Gary where Asael serves as the Field Coordinator for Mission Mexico. Asael and Hannah’s ministry involves Pastor and Leaders’ Training, Church construction, and Church planting with the 30-plus churches in the Rio Grande Annual Conference. Their relationships with the churches, pastors, and people on both sides of the border are a vital part of reaching the lost for Jesus Christ.
EVELYN GARY
Since 1967, Mike and Evelyn had been serving on the U.S-Mexico border and in Mexico. Faithfully serving, they have seen many people come to Christ, and many churches come into existence. From 1988 - 2019, Mike and Evelyn pastored the Word of Life Church in Eagle Pass, Texas. Since the passing of Mike in 2019, Evelyn partners with the Fuentes where her ministry includes the Children’s Ministry, Literature Distribution, and providing accounting services for the 30-plus churches in the Rio Grande Annual Conference.
CHARLIE JOE AND CYNTHIA GREEN
Charlie Joe Green is the Field Coordinator for Mission Belize. He and his wife Cynthia serve with a focus on Church Planting, Compassionate Ministry, and Church Leadership Development. Charlie spends much of his time conducting short-term ministry trips, providing servant leadership to our expanding church planting emphasis.
DON MAPP
Don is the Field Coordinator of CMC Mission Haiti . Our work in Haiti began after the devastating earthquake in 2010 and we continue to work with a local orphanage as they rebuild their lives. Our goal is to teach these precious children that there is a better way of life through Jesus Christ. We encourage the 80 orphans who live there to be a light in their world as they grow into the next generation of Christian Leaders for Haiti. CMC Mission Haiti short-term opportunities include trips with a focus on Medical Clinics , Evangelism, Construction, and Church Planting.
MANUEL MUNOZ
Manuel Munoz serves as the Pastor of Templo Sinai in Piedras Negras, Mexico. As one of our National Missionaries, he helps to coordinate new church starts in Mexico, where he has helped plant many new churches.
ALBERTO AND MELVA POSADA
Rev. Alberto and Melva Posada are the pastors of Fuente De Vida CMC, our first Congregational Methodist Church in Belize. They are leading this growing church and helping to lead church planting in the northern part of Belize.
SYBLE VERMILLION
Syble Vermillion has faithfully served in Mission Navajo for many years. She ministers in many ways to the Navajo people, including home visitation, leading Bible studies, distributing literature, hosting Vacation Bible Schools and other children’s ministries, as well as an annual kid’s summer camp.
